How to use PodWave
A step-by-step walkthrough of every feature, in the order you'll actually use them.
1. Connect Printify
Before anything else works, enter your Printify API token and shop ID in Settings. Every other feature — Generate, Import, Discover — publishes products through this connection, so it has to be set up first.
Go to Settings →2. Add a product in Library
Add at least one product type — pick a Printify blueprint (a mug, poster, t-shirt, phone case, whatever you want to sell), choose sizes, set a price, and optionally save an example description to guide the tone of future listings. Generate and Import both require a product configured here first.
Go to Library →3. Generate — create artwork from a topic
Type a topic, optionally pick one or more style buckets (Bold, Vintage, Minimal, Realistic, Photography, and more), and PodWave writes several distinct visual concepts and generates images for each. Approve the ones you like, click into any image to open it full-size and regenerate it individually, then publish — PodWave creates the Printify listing automatically.
Open Generate →4. Import — turn existing images into listings
For artwork you already have. Upload one or more image files and PodWave uses AI to write a title, description, and tags for each. Review and edit before publishing — analyze and publish individually or in a batch.
Open Import →5. Discover — find what to make next
Pro and above. Surfaces rising sub-niches and keyword variants worth designing around, so you’re not starting from a blank topic field. Feed anything interesting straight into Generate.
Open Discover →6. Brand voice — keep every listing on-tone
Pro and above. Analyze a website — yours or a reference you like — to pull out tone and style traits automatically. Save the ones that fit, and PodWave weaves them into future concepts and listing copy, so your shop reads consistently.
Open Brand →7. History — resume where you left off
Every Generate and Discover session is saved automatically. Review what you made, or pick up a session you didn’t finish publishing.
Open History →8. Settings — plan, billing, and feedback
Beyond the Printify connection, Settings is also where you manage your plan and billing, and where you can send feedback directly to the PodWave team.
Go to Settings →9. Referrals — earn commission
Get a personal link to share. Anyone who signs up through it and becomes a paying customer earns you a 20% one-time commission on their first month — track pending and paid-out commissions right there.
Open Referrals →Still have questions?
If something's not working the way this guide describes, or you just want to ask a question, send it straight to the PodWave team here.
